Driving Directions to SDSU
From Interstate 8, exit at College Avenue and go south. San Diego State University will be on your right. Continue on College Avenue South through the Canyon Crest Drive/Alvarado Road stop light. Cross under two pedestrian bridges and turn left at your first opportunity. Parking 3 (P3) will be directly in front of you.
Parking
You may park on levels one through five of P3. You may purchase a parking permit by downloading the PayByPhone app, visiting the PayByPhone website, or calling 1 (888) 515-7275. The app allows you to extend your parking session from anywhere and will remind you when your parking session is about to expire.
Once you have registered for an account, you will need to enter the following information and pay using PayByPhone:
- Enter the location number posted on the PayByPhone signs at the entrance of the parking lot or structure. The location number for P3 is 28503.
- Select how long you would like to park. It is recommended that you select three hours to cover the length of your visit.
- Confirm and pay.

Walking Directions from Parking 3
Your tour departs from the Prospective Student Center, the glass-enclosed office in the Student Services West building directly beneath the clock tower. After you park in P3, exit the parking structure and walk west toward the residence halls and the large arched bridge. Cross the bridge and walk through the courtyard of the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union. When you exit the courtyard, the Student Services West building will be on your right.
