Important Dates for Fall 2026 Admitted Students

You're in — and we're excited you're taking the next step toward becoming an SDSU Aztec! As you get ready to officially join the Aztec community, be sure to keep these key dates in mind.

Dates and deadlines in December.

ASAP If you haven't done so already, submit either your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA), as soon as possible.
ASAP Accept your offer of admission by submitting your online Intent to Enroll form and the nonrefundable $400 deposit as soon as possible in my.SDSU.
ASAP Apply for the Weber Honors College. Review the Weber Honors College Application Deadlines web page for more information.

February 15 Weber Honors College application priority consideration deadline. Students are strongly encouraged to apply by this deadline. Review the Weber Honors College Application Deadlines web page for more information.
February Order official transcripts for your Intent to Enroll including fall 2025 grades to be sent to the SDSU Office of Admissions.

First-year Students: Order transcripts from all high schools attended. If applicable, order transcripts from all colleges you attended while in high school.

March Accept your offer of admission by submitting your online Intent to Enroll form and the nonrefundable $400 deposit as soon as possible in my.SDSU.
Early March The Student Housing License Agreement will be available in early March 2026. Apply for on-campus housing on the Housing Portal after submitting your Intent to Enroll nonrefundable deposit. You will be granted access to the Housing Portal within 24 hours of submitting your Intent to Enroll deposit in my.SDSU.
March 2 Deadline to submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
March 9 The SDSU Aztec Scholarships application opens. Log in to the Aztec Scholarships portal to apply after submitting your Intent to Enroll.
March 22 Weber Honors College application final deadline. After February 15, applications are accepted and evaluated on a space-available basis. Review the Weber Honors College Application Deadlines web page for more information.
March Order official transcripts for your Intent to Enroll including fall 2025 grades to be sent to the SDSU Office of Admissions.

April 11 Attend Explore SDSU Admitted Student Day to meet current students, campus leaders, and staff to learn more about living on campus, financial aid, athletics, student services, and organizations, and to picture yourself as an SDSU Aztec!
April Review your checklist items (To Do's) in my.SDSU and submit documents as needed.
April Order official transcripts for your Intent to Enroll including fall 2025 grades to be sent to the SDSU Office of Admissions.

First-year Students: Order transcripts from all high schools attended. If applicable, order transcripts from all colleges you attended while in high school.

April After you submit your Intent to Enroll, set up your official SDSU Gmail email account. Check your email for details.

May
May 1 Deadline to accept your offer of admission and submit the following items in my.SDSU:
  • Intent to Enroll nonrefundable $400 deposit
  • Official transcripts showing fall 2025 grades
  • Official test scores, including Advanced Placement (AP) exams taken prior to your senior year in high school (if applicable)
May 1 Submit your Student Housing License Agreement and nonrefundable $375 initial payment in the Housing Portal (if applicable). You will be granted access to the Housing Portal within 24 hours of submitting your Intent to Enroll deposit in my.SDSU.
Early May Log on to the Housing Portal to indicate your living interests, select a meal plan, and search for roommates (if applicable).
May 7 First-year Students: The New Student Orientation reservation system opens. Several orientation programs will be available to choose from; not all majors are represented on each orientation date. Visit the Orientation web page for additional information.
May 12 Transfer Students: The New Student Orientation reservation system opens. Several orientation programs will be available to choose from; not all majors are represented on each orientation date. Visit the Orientation web page for additional information.
May 18 Deadline to complete your Student Success Pathway Preference Form.
May If you haven't done so already, after you submit your Intent to Enroll, set up your official Gmail email account. Check your email for details.
May Review the immunization requirements and begin locating your immunization records.

June
June 1 First-year Students: Complete placement exams (if required for your major). Refer to your Steps to Enroll for more information.
June Order official transcripts showing spring 2026 grades to be sent to the SDSU Office of Admissions. Request personal copies for yourself to keep in an advising file.

First-year Students: Request your final high school and/or college transcripts including date of graduation. Request official test scores, including AP Exams taken prior to your senior year (if applicable). Due one week prior to your orientation date and no later than July 15, 2026.

Transfer Students: Request your final official college transcripts (due June 30, 2026).
June Reserve your New Student Orientation date, if you haven't done so already.
June Review your checklist items (To Do's) in my.SDSU and submit documents as needed.

July 15 Upload proof of your immunization requirements and complete your Tuberculosis (TB) Risk Assessment in the HealtheConnect portal.
July 15 First-year Students: One week prior to your orientation date (and no later than July 15) - All final official high school and/or college transcripts must be received by the SDSU Office of Admissions. If we do not receive your transcript(s) showing spring 2026 grades/credits and date of graduation by this date, an administrative hold will be placed on your university record and you will be unable to register for fall classes. These transcripts are in addition to the transcripts you submitted with your Intent to Enroll on May 1.
July Attend New Student Orientation on your registered date.
July Pay your basic tuition, fees, and nonresident tuition (if applicable) after registering for classes. Review the How to Pay Tuition and Fees and Other University Charges website for more information.
July In lieu of making your basic tuition and fees payment, activate your student loan(s) and/or request your Parent PLUS loan to cover tuition, fees, and other university expenses. Review the How to Pay Tuition and Fees and Other University Charges website for more information.

August
August 19-21 First-year Students: Move-in day. In early August, you will receive an email with specific instructions for unloading, check-in and parking on your assigned move-in day.
TBD Welcome Week. The first week of the fall semester includes events such as involvement expos, Ask Me! Tents, interactive activities, entertainment, and special events for you to enjoy and begin making SDSU your new home.
TBD New Student and Family Convocation. This event is a celebration that signifies the beginning of all new students' academic journeys at SDSU. It is a time-honored tradition. Parents and family supporters are invited to attend and will participate in a pinning ceremony that acknowledges the milestone and signifies their introduction into the SDSU community.
August 24 Classes begin. Check your schedule in my.SDSU and find your class using the SDSU map.
August Pay your basic tuition, fees, and nonresident tuition (if applicable) after registering for classes. Review the How to Pay Tuition and Fees and Other University Charges website for more information.
